Say What? Is it true C'est What in Toronto is closing its doors? I just spotted a cancelled tour date on another artist's site (Emaline Delapaix) with the explanation that the venue is "closing down". Sad news if true. Even though I left Toronto some time ago, I have fond memories of some early Sarah shows there, as well as many others. Say What? I am from a wee little town in the North of British Columbia (even so, I somehow got into the Toronto music scene) and kept hearing about this place called C'est What? over the years. Last year, on my way to Africa, I had the option of a layover in Toronto, and of course, took the opportunity to see the Big City (even though I now live in Vancouver). I had 2 nights there and I made certain one of them was spent at the infamous C'est What? It's a shame. Anyone who hasn't been there MUST go before it closes. There are some great shows (as Tab listed) coming up. Danny Michel, Tory Cassis, and Sara Kamin being my choice picks. Oh how I wish I lived in Toronto!
