They were all amazing and different. She played all the new stuff (1 or 2 songs a set) that I can recall. The Score, California, Everything by the Gallon, "Count me out" (not sure of the name). She started off the show (each time) by singing without the piano, just John on bass. "I'm a goin over Jordan, I'm a goin over home" I think that line was in it :) I'm assuming its a new song and not a cover. > > During one show the fuses blew so Sarah sang 'Vertigo' with John playing his acoustic. No mics or anything, it was amazing! One of my favorites, never thought a chance in hell she'd play it. But she referred to it as being new (which it is definatly not), so perhaps that means it is going to be on the coming album, who knows. > > She also played 'Bulletproof' in each show. Radiohead cover if you didn't know. She got on her feet for this one, thought I was going to pass out when she sang it directly to me, but I didn't and all is good :) The guy next to me was like having some sort of breathing attack, was kinda freaking me out. I'm sure it freaked her out :) > > Anyways, can't wait for her to come back. > > _____________________________________________________________ > Visit TheForce.Net > Your Daily Dose of Star Wars > http://www.theforce.net ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 16 Jul 2003 14:00:25 -0400 From: "Kelly Goodlad" Subject: Re: Just some info from st. john's concerts Hm...that is the way I have thought for ages... what is the song like? slow? fast? what else? I can't remember the specifics of it, it's been like two months since i"ve heard it :'(... Kinda slow... it was solo piano when I first heard it! :) When she played it for us it was the first time she'd played it... she introduced it as being a song about her home town of Pickering (or, "Snickering" as she likes to call it)... and the whole song is basically about living in the wonderful world of Suburbia.... I can totally identify! hehe... - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kelly Goodlad" To: ; ; Sent: Wednesday, July 16, 2003 2:00 PM Subject: Re: Just some info from st. john's concerts > Hm...that is the way I have thought for ages... what is the song like? > slow? fast? what else?
