Hi, I waited until the last minute to try and get a ticket for tonight's show and now they're all sold out! That was dumb of me. If anyone has an extra ticket for the Boston show tonight, I'd be really grateful. Thanks, Chris __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Hello navy soupers! This may be a bit of a touchy subject, but does anyone out there trade Sarah bootlegs? I know she's against it, but I just love her live performances and would love to get copies of some of them. Also, is there any news on an upcoming Sarah album? "does anyone out there trade Sarah bootlegs? I know she's against it, but..." Wow, that sort of surprises me (her being against it). Though, I can understand it. I mean, live she is breathtakingly good... and shitty recordings being circulated doesn't do her justice. The other thing I would imagine is when she does "special treats", -covers of songs and unreleased songs from upcoming albums- they are for that particular audience, to tie in with the way the show is going. So perhaps we could just respect her wishes and save the "punch lines" for after she tells the joke. Part of music is to leave the musician in control, -since it is THEIR art- and for us to allow ourselves to take it all in. Bootlegs are taking her music out of context... perhaps we need to be there, in the emotion of the night... Generally things are best left to memory anyways. When you are there, and feeling it, taking it in. Art needs to be pushed to new levels. Bootlegs steal the magic from the performer, and from you. I couldn't imagine having heard California on some low quality recording prior to hearing it live. It really would have ruined it for me. etc... etc... Well, that's all I have to say. Sorry to rant. Enjoy life.
