No, no, they're practically 'old-school' compared to those artists... They've been around forever, broke up, and then got back together last year (decided to *stay* together after a slate of successful reunion tourdates). So they're not really a 'new' buzz band like those other acts, but definitely in the same indie-rock circle (beloved by critics and local indie fans, literate & wry, that sort of thing ;)). And I second the Women Ah Run Tings recommendation - they're super sassy. :) - - Tab. _________________________________________________________________ Add photos to your messages with MSN 8. The festival is indeed on from 1-11, but earlier in the day there will be booths and activities for kids, as well as readings and such... But the music portion is from 6-11 pm, with each act playing about 3 songs each. The schedule is posted at the Artists Against War website: http://www.artistsagainstwar.ca (Scroll down the main page to find the link.) Hope to see some of you there - come say hi over at the Media Tent. - - Tab :) >I thought in the orginal press release the festival was running from >pm to >11pm > >Are there acts playing prior to 6pm or did they cut down the length >of >the festival? > >Tab any insight on this? > >Cheers >Rannie _________________________________________________________________ Add photos to your e-mail with MSN 8.
