And yes, Emm's first US cd release show IS on Aug. 10th. I'm very much looking forward to it. elizabeth >From: Leif >To: "Elizabeth Weber" , coz@cozbaldwin.com, >navy-soup@smoe.org >Subject: RE: Minimal Sarah Content: Hawksley Workman Lyrics >Date: Sun, 14 Jul 2002 23:43:55 -0400 > >where did you get info that emm gryner will be playing the point sat 9/28 >from? it would be a great weekend if she played the day after sarah slean >if it really is happening. i looked on emm gryner's site, leona naess's >site, ticketweb site, and the point email list i'm on and all do not list >her for sat 9/28. > >i also posted emm gryner will be at the point..but it was listed for Sat, >8/10 for a release party. i think ppl should find out for sure b4 booking >any plane tix if they expect emm the day after sarah... > >toodles ~ >leif > >At 05:47 AM 7/12/2002 -0400, Elizabeth Weber wrote: >>><>>USA...anyone know when? Emm will also be playing a RAINN benefit on August 8th with Terami Hirsh and others at the Trocadero in Philadelphia. :) e _________________________________________________________________ Join the worlds largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 15 Jul 2002 00:19:49 -0400 From: "Elizabeth Weber" Subject: RE: Minimal Sarah Content: Hawksley Workman Lyrics Julian wrote: > > STEPHEN KELLOGG / SARAH SLEAN > > Kellogg, a captivating singer-songwriter from western Mass. >intelligent > > and thoughtful with a charming stage presence. > >That'll be a great pairing. Stephen's a great musician in his own right -- >I had the pleasure of seeing him perform a too-short set at NXNE this year >-- and he's very witty to boot. Highly recommended. Stephen is great performer. Does an uncanny impression of Andy Stochansky singing "22 Steps" and has also done an acoustic 80s medley in honor of Emm. He has even brought his little brother on stage for a kazoo solo. Probably not someone I'd go out of my way to see, but it is always a fun show. Leif asked: >my question would be if sarah is the opener of if she is headlining...and >how long her set is...heather, any info on this?? It looks to me as if it is a co-headlining deal. I wouldn't be surprised if Stephen Kellogg closed the show though as he is probably the bigger draw around here at this point. elizabeth _________________________________________________________________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com ------------------------------ End of navy-soup-digest V5 #116 *******************************
