No shit! That's fantastic!! I never go off-topic, but I feel like I have to for a minute, so please indulge me. The album I'm currently flipping out over is Silverchair's "Diorama", due out in July (but after I heard it, I ordered it from hmv.com, from Australia). Van Dyke Parks added orchestration to 3 tracks, and is quoted as saying that Daniel Johns is the most talented person he's worked with since Brian Wilson. That's quite the tall compliment. (Van Dyke has worked with Rufus Wainwright, Fiona Apple (two of my top favourites), and countless others. I won't say I agree with him (who am I to judge?), but I will say that I am in awe of this record, Daniel's strong vocals, and the kickass melodies. It's, shall we say, a bit of a new sound...;) http://www.warnermusic.ca/news/press/March_2002/march5th-01.asp Kelly _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp. ------------------------------ End of navy-soup-digest V5 #79 ******************************
