If in fact you are not familiar with this "new track" check out this link http://www3.sympatico.ca/corduroy/noahs_arkweld/noahsarkweldframe.htm and look for the headline "New Noah's Arkweld song!" They have the lyrics there as well. I learned of this song about a month or so ago when I came across it on a trading community which shall remain nameless. It's a gorgeous, gorgeous song. Beautiful. It might've been mentioned before you joined the list. Several of us were introduced to Sarah during the Freetimes Cafe days when Sarah, Emm Gryner, Noah Mintz and occasionally Dylan White (Cicero) would perform two short sets each. Mouring comes from about that period. I _very_ highly recommend the Squirtgun Records Compilation that "Mourning" comes from (its the Singles comp), the associated _More of Our Stupid Noise_ that Squirtgun honcho Lee Maslin brought together and Noah's album "Fun!" which features the infinitly under-rated Leslie Feist (Feist, By Divine Right). The latter can be ordered via Emm Gryner's Dead Daisy Records (www.deaddaisy.com www.emmgryner.com). > I learned of this song about a month or so ago when I came across it on a > trading community which shall remain nameless. > It's a gorgeous, gorgeous song. > Beautiful. As are many of Noah's songs. Funny, irreverent, down right goofy at times, I miss the presence of Noah Mintz (hHead) on the music scene. He has a gift of wry observation and the ability to make you laugh and cry in a single song, often within a bar or two. I wish he'd gig once or twice a year... its really unfortunate when cirumstances cause someone with his talents not to share his gift.
