I'm wondering whether I'll be able to order the album when it's released in CA (on the 19th). It seems like I've been waiting for it for ages, and I really wouldn't want to have to wait for some here-to-for unknown US release date. Will it be available on Amazon or something? Appreciate it much, Gina ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 13 Mar 2002 13:15:34 -0500 (EST) From: "Julian C. They have the EP, so chances are they will have the full-length, too. Does sarahslean.com do online ordering yet? - - Julian - -- [ Julian C. If not, you can order it on hmv.com and it's cheap in American dollars (even with shipping) but it will take a while 'cause they ship it from Canada. - -jenn ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 13 Mar 2002 13:43:36 -0500 From: "James McGarry" Subject: Re: Ordering Nightbug - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jennifer M. Order soon too so you get the postcards... HMV doesn't tend to stock much of their promo items, I was unfortunately surprised not to get the remix CD with the new Rinocerose album (_Music Kills Me_) when I pre-ordered, despite Area One I didn't think they were that popular. Having shipped things recently to the US from Canada, delivery can take up to 3 months. Coincidental to my dissing HMV for forgetting the Rinocerose remix, after a week and a bit it showed up on my doorstep this afternoon. No explanations but its here. So I'll add a different provisio, don't be too worried if your promo stuff isn't shipped _with_ your order, at least for a week or so. ;-) Just felt the need to set the record straight. Keep it real! And if there are TO peeps who have nothing better to do :-) go check out Leslie Fiest's set at the tiny, yet well-booked, Rancho Relaxo. No explanations but its here. So As much as I'd love to insult HMV, I've been really happy with their service. When I ordered Tori Amos' album "To Venus and Back" a long time ago over the web (when I lived in a remote SMALLL town) the delay it took to get to me was aggitating. A phone call to their customer service, they had it sorted out, and I got one of the CD's that I was ordering for free. As well, the two CD's I've purchased from them with bonuses (Enigma's "The Screen Behind the Mirror" and the cranberries "Wake up and Smell the Coffee") both shipped promptly and with bonuses intact. Too bad their album list prices are so high. :) Give more of that money to the artists, dammit!! Then people won't want to pirate so much! kyall (going to order "Night Bugs" online now... even though I have the MP3's on the computer!) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - k y a l l g l e n n i e iam@kyall.com www.kyall.com ------------------------------ End of navy-soup-digest V5 #47 ******************************
