Very cool - I'm always interested in live shots of Sarah performing since I have yet to have AUS$2000 in spare change in order to fly over to see her perform myself. For those who are interested there are some more live photos of Sarah at: http://www.ryerson.ca/~dupham/ and http://community.webshots.com/user/dave_upham_photography And no I'm not connected to Dave in any way! ;) Keep smiling! Its true... i get asked all the time, and i have also had one guy think that we *ride* kangaroos to school... and he was being serious. :o) :: sara :: "where there's music, there can be no evil" - --cervantes ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 01 Feb 2002 08:59:01 -0800 From: stewartj@seanet.com Subject: Re: Release dates In <00d101c1ab0b$0cee0540$68ca32d2@brookefamily>, on 02/01/2002 at 09:27 PM, "Sara B" said: >> >i find it extremely interesting that (it seems) you think that most >> people >> >think all australians have pet kangaroos. > >> This was an attempt at light-hearted humour although I have genuinely >> been asked that question, so it is fair to say at least some of the >> world's population may consider this to be possible if not true. >Its true... i get asked all the time, and i have also >had one guy think that we *ride* kangaroos to >school... and he was being serious. These are the same people who asked my friend Jeff in college, who grew up in Alaska, if he lived in an igloo. And *they* were serious. I'd say the MAJORITY of people from the US realize that you don't ride or keep kangaroos as pets, don't all have the last name Dundee, and don't all wrestle alligators. Just as smart Australians realize we Americans are not all dumb as rocks, do not all think the US should come first in all things, and do not all like the Crocodile Hunter. :) Jon >From: "Sara B" >To: "Claire Cross" , , > >Subject: Re: Release dates >Date: Fri, 1 Feb 2002 21:27:27 +1100 > > > >i find it extremely interesting that (it seems) you think that most > > people > > >think all australians have pet kangaroos. > > > > This was an attempt at light-hearted humour although I have genuinely > > been asked that question, so it is fair to say at least some of the > > world's population may consider this to be possible if not true. > >Its true... i get asked all the time, and i have also >had one guy think that we *ride* kangaroos to >school... and he was being serious. > >:o) > >:: sara :: >"where there's music, there can be no evil" >--cervantes webmaster, Thank You: Dido Online http://tydo.blue-orange.org Check out: Dido Message board http://blue-orange.org/dido Cameron Dezen http://www.camerondezen.com _________________________________________________________________ Join the worlds largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 1 Feb 2002 20:16:29 EST From: JewelEDA21@aol.com Subject: Re: Release dates hey claire et all :) my whole email was an attempt at light-hearted humour :) seriously so was my kangaroo comment. peace, seb :) In a message dated 2/1/02 6:00:34 AM, claire@cross.rememberit.com.au writes: << >i find it extremely interesting that (it seems) you think that most people >think all australians have pet kangaroos. Hey meth and everyone: yes South is much different, and there was some very heated discussion on the Nova list, but after you listen to it and see it live... its amazing. and heathers doing these amazing covers lately (staying alive... phantom of the opera...). I dig some of south, its more for just the lyrics you know. and the 3 videos off the album are great too! the singles are worth getting if you like Heathers OLDER stuff. I reccomend the IM NO ANGEL singles, for tracks like SWEET NOVEMEBER. i love Oyster and The THESE WALLS e.p and of course BLOW. but then i got a ton of live nova stuff and its all perfect :) cant wait for her book. peace, seb ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 1 Feb 2002 20:23:03 EST From: JewelEDA21@aol.com Subject: Re: Release dates In a message dated 2/2/02 12:47:38 AM, stewartj@seanet.com writes: << in Alaska, if he lived in an igloo.
