(the vyletz DID inform jeff prior to the show that they had to leave early cause my sister had to work very early the next morning). a number of things do not seem right here. the free times cafe is not a large establishment. the waitress should have been able to keep track of all her customers, but she didn't. so the money was taken from my sisters band and when it comes down to it, the vyletz were royally screwed over. i am not one to cause trouble, but i am also not one to idly watch from the sidelines. not only did vyletz attract 2/3rd of the patrons of the establishment that evening, but they have yet to get paid for their efforts because of the incompetence of the free times staff. I don't think the establishment or jeff stone handled this situation in the right way. and i think the waitress should have paid for her own mistakes. it is hard enough for struggling musicians in toronto to earn a living from their craft, but situations like this make it even harder. please join me and email the free times cafe to let them know what you think about this situation. their email address is freetimescafe@excite.com Cheers Rannie PS: I do feel bad for the waitress, but i don't think it was right of her to take the money from vyletz. it is a matter of principle ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 13 Dec 2001 12:00:21 -0500 From: rturingan@dico.com Subject: injustice..... email change you can send any comments to the free times cafe to this email address... as their other address is not working rayukawa@accessv.com please send me a copy of any responses..
