That's Not Emm or Sarah Hi everyone, Sorry this isn't directly Emm or Sarah related, but I wanted to let any of you who may have attended either the Colourkind benefit that I organized on Oct.11 or the Hart House show on Nov.22 that I will be doing a solo acoustic show this Thursday, December 6 at Oasis in Toronto. Rachel Smith (who opened for Sarah at the U of T show and who I do backing vocals for), will be performing again as well. Also lending her sweet sounds to the evening will be Susan Hutcheson. Each of us will be playing a 40-minute set. If you haven't heard Rachel or Susan yet, I highly recommend it. If you have, then you know why you should come! They both have angelic voices and are truly gifted songwriters. The show starts at 9 sharp, doors are 8:30 and cover is $5. There will be a free copy of my cassette EP, Praylude, for anyone who either emails me in advance or mentions at the door that he/she is a member of either headline-girl or navy-soup. It should be a lovely night so come out and hang with three very lovable but equally poor artists. =) We will sing our little hearts out for you! Peace&Love, Tanisha. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 3 Dec 2001 20:07:13 -0500 From: "T Taitt" Subject: A Show... Okay, so I jumped the gun a little by dissing my friends the Varsity the other day. They ran my Slean review on today's issue (apparently time is no object for them? ;)) with a lovely cover banner and everything. :) So for those of you who didn't wade through the review when I posted it as straight text, it's here: http://www.collegepublisher.com/thevarsity/main.cfm?include=detail&storyid=155156 Many thanks to Paul "Microserf" Schreiber for the lovely photo. - - Tab :) _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp ------------------------------ End of navy-soup-digest V4 #168 *******************************
