I would love to hear Sarah's cover of Bulletproof.  I've obsessively
revisited The Bends since the release of Kid A.  Her version of Climbing
Up The Walls is just exquisite (and appropriately chilling) and I think
her vocals would be perfect for Bulletproof.  She is one of the few
artists I can see "properly" covering Radiohead.  Although I recently got
the idea in my head that Starling could do a kick ass version of
Molasses.

I like Tori's cover of Losing My Religion.  :-)  I do love Landslide
(which Tori played at my first concert) and Thank You, Smells Like Teen
Spirit, and Do It Again are among my favorites of Tori's covers.

I'm not sure if it has been mentioned yet or not, but I read this on
www.swinghammer.com tonight and decided to share...

<The following day Kurt went out to the famous Bearsville Studios in
Woodstock to track on the new Sarah Slean CD being produced by
charisma-monger Hawksley Workman. The sessions are being engineered by
Clif Norrell, who worked on Jeff Buckley's Grace, among many other
projects. Buckley recorded his masterpiece at this incredible facility
set in the beautiful landscape of the Catskills. Fans of Sarah may be in
for a surprise with her new album, which is sounding like a departure
from her previous releases. >

Hey, all...

Forgive the bit of self-promotion ;), but an interview I did with Toronto 
singer-songwriter Andrea Florian is this month's feature at excellent local 
independent music site IndieVoice.com.

IndieVoice is run by cool gal Janine Stoll, singer in local band Dirty 
Little Secret (some of you might have seen her at the women's benefit last 
week in London), and is a great resource for anyone interested in the 
Toronto-area indie scene.

Andrea's currently in Australia, but will be back soon showcasing material 
with Florian Jones, her new duo with guitarist Tracy Jones.  I recommend you 
check them out - I know a lot of people enjoyed her set at our women's 
benefit show at C'est What back in August.
