That is good to hear. I'm about an hour north of the city and often hear "who?" in response to my mentioning Sarah. But I'm gradually working on changing that (it is always fun imposing one's musical tastes on others). Maybe I should just find some new friends. ;-) > How was Shivaree live? I'm anticipating a second album even more now after hearing some of the new material Thursday. I love Ambrosia Parsley's voice, and it is amazing to see her control with it. She tells great stories too. She gave the usual background story on her Granny before "I Don't Care" (always a favorite story) and then added something along the lines of (only more extensive) "So if you've ever stayed home from work to call your boyfriend a hundred times and wondered why he got mad at you, so you had to start following him everywhere... to work, his mother's house, his apartment... then you had to break into his apartment and you open the refrigerator and read the labels and you read the messages written on the notebook by the phone... and then he files a restraining order with the police because you left a love note under his windshield wiper... written in your blood... Well, then this song is for us." It was funny. And she told a story about her Nanny (mom's mom) and Zsa Zsa the dog before "Goodnight Moon." She definitely paints good visuals with her stories. And I'm sure I've told all of you more than you ever wanted to know about Shivaree. ;-) goodnight... :-) elizabeth ________________________________________________________________ YOU'RE PAYING TOO MUCH FOR THE INTERNET! If you want a good seat, show up early. It's first-come, first serve.
