The following is a message from Pepper McGowan about the MP3's on Napster of her song "Molly" being labelled as Sarah Slean. She has tried to contact some people associated with Sarah, like the webmaster, but her letters kept getting bounced back so she asked me to forward it along to this list for her. ========================================================= ...Another thing, any of you who use Napster, at this time I would be much obliged if any of you who use NAPSTER would keep an eye out for people passing along my song MOLLY as Sarah Slean. It's just very frustrating to put up with, I'm get a decent amount of negative mail from Slean fans about this, and it's irritation to the 9th degree. I have nothing against Slean, she's actually a very good artist. IT's just that it's my fucking song, and it's copyrighted and everything, but because one person mislabeled it in their directory, tons of Sarah fans are sending me nasty mails since it's on my mp3 site and I've had friends and fans Instant Message these napster users (nicely, too, not rudely) to tell them about the mistake. This is NOT some "lame attempt" to gain fans off Sarah's fanbase. Of course I've already gotten 3 mails about this today, though, from some Sarah Fans. I also found 5 people passing MOLLY along on napster today but none of them answered me when I tried to contact them. So if you happen to notice, please let them know.
