So, it's July 3. I'm sitting here in New Haven, Connecticut and I just now found out that Sarah played up at the Iron Horse in Northampton, Massachusetts (exactly 83 miles from where my butt is parked right this minute) last Thursday, June 29. Last Thursday, my butt was parked in the exact same place it is now. I could've been there, but I had no idea it was happening. I'm sure you can all imagine what I'm going through right now. Seems that if it's not happening in Toronto, nobody on this list talks about it beforehand to make sure everyone who needs to know about it does ... guess that's the lesson I'll take away from this experience. Sigh. I haven't seen this confirmed on any official festival web sites or listings, but apparently the Sarahs Slean and Harmer will be in Northampton on August 12 for the Folk Festival In The Pines. I've already got it on my calendar. Hope this notice helps someone else out. +==========================================================================+ | Meredith Tarr meth@smoe.org | | New Haven, CT USA http://www.smoe.org/~meth | +==========================================================================+ | "things are more beautiful when they're obscure" -- veda hille | | *** TRAJECTORY, the Veda Hille mailing list: *** | | *** http://www.smoe.org/meth/trajectory.html *** | +==========================================================================+ ------------------------------ End of navy-soup-digest V3 #112 *******************************
