Management Subject: Food ideas for "the shoot" Hello food volunteers - Thanks again for helping us out... I thought maybe I should give a little outline of some of the types of edibles you may consider bringing to the "High" video shoot on July 5th: * Sandwiches of various types (including some "veggie") * Salads of various types (garden, potato, whatever) * Fruit * Cheese and crackers-type things * Snackies (those Rice Krispie snacks and Oreos sound fantastic...!, cakes, cookies, chips, etc.) * Drinks (juice, pop, coffee!, water - if someone has a large cooler/thermos type thing and could fill it and bring it, well, that would be fantastic) We're also going to need paper plates, plastic cutlery, paper cups and nappies. Jeez - I suppose we're also going to need a table or two to put the stuff on. And you'll probably want to bring yourself a lawn chair for comfort. If you'll be bringing something that will spoil in the heat, it would wonderful if you were able to bring it in a cooler (we won't have anything there to keep things cool) or find someone to share one with. (This is quite the community effort, eh?!) Any other suggestions? I've made myself drool. Must go hunt & gather. Best, Heather. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 12 Jun 2000 18:06:27 -0400 From: "W. L. (Note for non-US folks: Tuesday, 4 July will be a paid holiday for me.) any advice? - --Will *who is dreading the cost of this whole scheme* ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 12 Jun 2000 16:02:28 -0700 From: Paul Schreiber Subject: Re: traveling W. You'll certainly be able to find lots of interesting stuff to do in Toronto (and surrounding area) between events.
