I was right about to write about it. ;-) I did know it was on, and I don't watch the show, but I made sure I was watching this one... and oh, my... Such a perfect spot for the song, and perfect words. The song is probably my favorite of hers and when they cut out everything else audible except for the last line "She has such an awful lot of soldiers. Quite a lovely army all her own. Night and day they stand before the fortress, very safe but very all alone." just flooded me with so many emotions. I think it's one of the most beautiful lines ever written, and i'm so glad that it has been shared with so many people through the medium of a popular television show. Congrats to Sarah. Have a great night all, Coz - ----- Original Message ----- From: To: Sent: Wednesday, May 17, 2000 8:44 PM Subject: MY INVITATION ON DAWSON"S CREEK!! > hi..yeah i like dawson's ok...but i was just watcing it, and i heard these > very familiar strains on a piano....then i hear sarah singing "you are what > they call the human season..."ahh!! i didn't know she was gonna be on that! > it was used in a very good spot too...very good. :) > > emily ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 17 May 2000 21:42:51 -0400 From: meredith Subject: Re: MY INVITATION ON DAWSON"S CREEK!! Hi! I got stuck late at work, so I missed this (just barely got home in time to catch _Felicity_, in fact :})... I'm so glad they used it prominently! The big question is, though -- did they say what it was at the end (you know how those WB shows do, "tonight's episode of featured music by ___")? +==========================================================================+ | Meredith Tarr meth@smoe.org | | New Haven, CT USA http://www.smoe.org/~meth | +==========================================================================+ | "things are more beautiful when they're obscure" -- veda hille | | *** TRAJECTORY, the Veda Hille mailing list: *** | | *** http://www.smoe.org/meth/trajectory.html *** | +==========================================================================+ ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 17 May 2000 22:10:12 EDT From: Songbird22@aol.com Subject: Re: MY INVITATION ON DAWSON"S CREEK!! There was some legal thing going on so Dawsons Creek is not allowed to do that anymore for some reason. I read about it somewhere, the DC website or something awhile ago... so they will probably post info about Sarah on the website...
