After all, the annual festival and conference, running Wednesday through Sunday, is known mainly as a mob scene of record-biz weasels, starry-eyed hopefuls and jaded members of the rock press, out to take in as much beer, schmoozing and -- oh right -- music as possible. Here's a breakdown of Canadian Music Week costs and events: Music Festival: In what has become a tradition for Toronto's two main music festivals, CMW and North By Northeast, this year's supply of new, independent talent looks a lot like last year's.
