This time thru it was a different experience with Sarah. This time she had more than herself. Whether she is with a band or just by herself its like you get to hear two songs in one. She did one duet with Tory as an encore and both did a few songs for each other. As for Tory, I had never heard of him before tonight except for the brief instances of his name on the list. Not exactly what I was expecting. I somehow was maybe expecting a lot of folk, I don't know why, but his ability to change the mood of the audience thru his songs was exhilirating. This short review could not be complete without mentioning Drew, on electric and upright bass, and Mark. These guys did double duty as they played on Sarah's and Tory's sets. Top that with the driving that all four of them, its quite a wonder that they have survived such a grueling tour. Anyways off for a really quick trip to Minneapolis to catch the living room tour, 12 hour drive, spend the night and drive back, erg, the things we fans do for great music, trav ------------------------------ End of navy-soup-digest V3 #28 ******************************
