If anyone should want a copy, please pass on your mailing address and I'll pop 'em in the mail by the end of the week. Cheers, Heather. PS - You'll all be pleased to know that Sarah is in the van on her way to Winnipeg with Tory, Mark and Drew. She's feeling a world better -- thanks to everyone for their well-wishes. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 2 Feb 2000 18:15:53 -0500 (EST) From: Anna Banana Subject: Re: SSlean sheet music? Oooh... Okay, I've been lurking on this mailing list for about 6 months now, and have never posted anything, but this was enough to draw me out of my reclusive shell. My skills at playing by ear are little-to-none. However, if I could play (read: butcher) sarah's stuff from sheet music, I would be one of the happiest campers around. At least, on the rare occasion when I'm home and have time to play. So, this being said, I would be more than willing to drop money for sheet music for Sarah's stuff. The songs mentioned by Josephine are exactly what I would have suggested -- they're my absolute favorites. =) I'll fall back into the scenery now... I am posting this note again since we have not gotten enough response to confirm the show. Please email me if you can make it and we can give Sarah and crew teh go ahead! :) Hi all, I have been in contact with Heather on organizing a living room show with both Sarah and Tory Cassis. Here is the deal....if there is enough interest, we are planning a show on the evening of February 16th. I live in Toledo, Ohio so we want to check and see how many people would be able to attend (be sure to check the date because it is a weeknight and note the cover, $15) before confirming the show. Please e-mail me privately if you are interested and we will try to make a final decision by the end of this week. Sarah Slean Tory Cassis Place: Living Room Show in Toledo, OH Date: February 16, 2000 Time: approximately 8 pm to 10 pm (this could change a bit) Charge: $15 per person (it takes this to cover the cost of the band members unless we get like 30 people) Thanks! Someone posted a great review of "Blue Parade" here awhile back and I asked for permission to place it on my page. Permission was granted and I put it up. Seems though that I attributed it to the wrong person. If you remember giving me permission to place your review on my site please let me know and I'll see if I can change it to give credit to the proper person! The review starts out: "Here was my initial impression of 'Blue Parade': aa, it's nice, typical Sarah Slean, all the songs sort of sound the same, nothing on this recording to rival "I Know" or "John 23rd".
