(umm...) well anyway, i'm SURE it's a wonderful place. :) There's also a major university there, Queen's and a lot of the feel of Kingston is that of a quaint and somewhat staid town. The most like army gents you'll see will be from Royal Military College (RMC). Its quaint and pretty in the fall, and there was a fabulous little used bookstore downtown last time I was there, I picked up loads of philosophy texts. Chez Piggy can be fun if its still around and the Brewpub was nice.
