It's nothing mind-boggling in content (most of you are far better versed in Sleanese than I am), but it does offer an up-to-date merchandise order-form (for the I'm-too-tired-to-calculate in you)... As you could probably see, I'm trying to compile a complete list of performed SSlean songs -- I'm not sure how far I am from 'done'... Hope I haven't crossed any lines or stepped on any toes getting this done.. let me know if there are any updates / additions / corrections / removals that have to be done. (found an excellent rachel's album), and then she played a few songs. "weight", "universe", "twin moon", and "john XXIII". i think that was it. she hung out and signed autographs afterwards, and i got a chance to talk with her for awhile. she is really friendly and great to talk to, which probably isn't much of a surprise... the concert was glorious and almost perfect. just the massive talking in the background, throughout the night. i think some people actually started playing pool in the back at one point. you could hear billiard balls cracking together during "blue parade", i think.. the setlist, you ask? well, i'll tell you.. (i'll throw in some lyrics for the songs i don't know. would you like that?) * (new song): "..no missionaries here...i'll keep p(l)aying until i get away..(?)" * (new song): "why do i play this game?...it's the misery of my doubt...i can't get out..." * (new song): "shitty in winter the sewage the steam..." * Me & Jerome * Universe * Blue Parade * Weight * Twin Moon * (new song): song about lusting after martin.. ;) * (new song): "love me for stupid reasons" * (new song): a 'political song' about "dancing" can someone give me the titles of these songs? anyway, nice to see a list has popped up for us, - -- timmiller * ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 25 Apr 1999 18:30:44 EDT From: Songbird22@aol.com Subject: Re: Sarah in Rochester Tim writes: > * (new song): song about lusting after martin.. ;) Hee, that would be "High". I *love* that song. :) > * (new song): a 'political song' about "dancing" "Ogoni Star" -- this is my favorite sarah song, I think...that and "Closer"... I could listen to OS over and over. Her voice singing "dance..." still echos in my mind occasionally. - -jessica http://adam.nettfriends.com/Jess / j_weiser@hotmail.com cd info: www.cdbaby.com/buy/weiser.htm ------------------------------ End of navy-soup-digest V2 #50 ******************************
