It's so easy for journalists to make the Tori comparison. Musically, they sound very similar from a casual listen; and has been mentioned, they're both female, yada yada. I haven't listened to Tori enough to make any detailed comments on her style. However, their similarities really don't go much farther; I'm guessing their songwriting styles and the substance of their lyrics and stories differ a lot, too.
