In other words, I want to hear something new (or rather 'new-to-me')! Personally, I have been in a Motown kick the past day or two with such as: Sam Cooke's "A Change's Gonna Come" or Smokey Robinson's "Track of My Tears" or Otis Redding's "Been Loving you Too Long" So, go ahead, share! For anyone else, check out his live stuff over the studio album. Beyond that, my tastes are quite varied and my mp3 player has something from all of the following and tons more: Ani Difranco, Tori Amos, Tegan & Sara, Steve Poltz, Sarah Harmer, Amee Mann, Enigma, Cirque du Soleil music, Duncan Sheik, Fiona Apple, Hooverphonic, Portishead, Jonatha Brooke (Rowdy, you might like her if you like Sarah Harmer), Patty Griffin, Rachael Sage; then there's the (sometimes embarrassing) oldies, Elton John, Supertramp, Heart, Yaz, Violent Femmes, Bauhaus, The The (lately rediscovering them....they were way underrated); and also swing music, blues, Patsy Cline, classical. Shall I go on? ;-) Oh yea, and Luna (though of course nothing NEW....ahem, hint hint, nudge nudge). And Jewel.
