I've since bought her entire discography (I already had Living With Ghosts) and been listening to them over and over - she's a great songwriter and I just adore her voice. My favourite albums are Children Running Through, 1,000 Kisses and Impossible Dream. Like most avid music fans I find great pleasure in discovering gems from my favourite artists. Among the most prized music in my collection is a copy of Lindsey Buckingham's Gift of Screws believed to have been recorded in 2000 / 2001. The mixing and dynamic range is very, very good and much nicer than that on the subsequently released Fleetwood Mac - Say You will and Lindsey's Gift of Screws. It's with this in mind that I'd like to ask whether anyone is prepared to trade a (lossless) copy of the unreleased Silver Bell. I'll be buying the album when released, but having read of differences on pattygriffin.net I'd really love to also hear it as Patty originally intended. I can be reached via audiomuze@gmail.com Thanks for reading. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 3 Sep 2013 01:05:55 +0000 From: Bruce Greenberg Subject: MM: RE: Just joined " It's with this in mind that I'd like to ask whether anyone is prepared to trade a (lossless) copy of the unreleased Silver Bell. " I'm not sure if anyone has a lossless version of Silver Bell. At least I've never seen one. In fact, because of its age, many of the versions are highly compressed (to save space back then). Mine are 256 bit (but there was a time I owned some that were 192 bit I believe). Even if there is a lossless version out there, it is probably based on a compressed original. Somebody tell me I'm wrong. I'd love a better version of it. Bruce ------------------------------ End of mad-mission-digest V16 #108 **********************************
