Every show is different. Not really worth arguing about. Bruce - -----Original Message----- From: owner-mad-mission@smoe.org [mailto:owner-mad-mission@smoe.org] On Behalf Of Gretchen Gordon Sent: Wednesday, June 26, 2013 11:48 AM To: mad-mission@smoe.org Subject: MM: calling out requests I follow a Facebook music page where people were recently complaining about any kind of calling out to headliners during the show--whether it's a request for a particular song or a drunken "I love you, Patty!" Discussion there pretty much went in the direction of "no one should shout out at an artist unless they have asked for requests or are soliciting audience interaction." But it seems pretty common. Any thoughts on whether it is annoying or a welcome form of enthusiasm?
