Here is most of it, if you're interested: http://infomas.subsonic.org/share/aKGOj Bruce I made this as a Mother's Day gift a couple years ago and rather than warning me or removing the audio I believe Patty's people just linked it to Amazon so you could buy the album. In the spirit of Mother's Day I thought I'd share it with fellow Patty fans.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y6oZ1sgl880 ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 13 May 2013 16:51:13 +0000 From: Bruce Greenberg Subject: MM: RE: How to unsub from Mad-Mission I hear ya Mike. I used to be on Kate Bush and Bruce Springsteen lists and received the daily digest. There was no way you could handle all of the email that came in on any given day. These message boards are a dying bread. None of them that I am still on are a 10th of what they used to be in the 90's. So, you gotta laugh when 30 emails in one week is too much. Hell, I've got 30 emails in my inbox before I get to work. It is sort of nice to have a dozen good ones waiting for me. :-) The part that has always bothered me, which is probably why I have never run one of these, is that the person figured out how to get on the list, maybe they should put a bit of mental energy towards figuring out how to get off the list, instead of assuming someone will do it for them. I've always felt the proper email should be, "How do I get off of the list", not, "Take me off the list". Just my 2 cents. During their average periods when both artists were popular and these lists were the lace to be for the fans, Mad-Mission was say, a couple dozen a day, Jewel 100 or so a day. I have been wondering for years why she hasn't yet worked with Alison Krauss, and I especially wonder now since there is only one degree of separation in Robert Plant. Can anyone provide insight on that topic? Would love to hear them together-two of my all-time faves. Just curious. Thanks! I agree with Bruce, post stuff and apologize later :). I think bootlegs and videos only help the artists spread their music. I'm watching the playlist now from the Living Room (Lisa, looks like video 3 is "private" in the playlist) and it looks/sounds great. I really like the new cd and I do like the Robert Plant collaborations. I think Ohio and Highway Song work well with Robert and I don't find him obtrusive at all on the cd. And Don't Let Me Die in Florida is my favorite on the cd. Looking forward to the Wiltern show! :) Lisa ------------------------------ End of mad-mission-digest V16 #46 *********************************
