Much thanks to everyone who replied with info about LWG. Still can't believe I never knew all this, but there you go and here we are. The only question that remains is... Did this electric LWG ever escape the clearly confused clutches of A&M and enter the tubes of the internets? Is it out there anywhere? Has anyone ever heard it? Anyone have a copy and want to trade? Or do we have to wait for Patty's box set? - --Geoff (who is sending healing vibes to the great Buddy Miller and advises all to do the same. I would have to pull it out to check which ones and right now, all of my cds are packed in the garage in back of stuff waiting for bookcases etc to be built.:) They were great versions, I think one was Let Him Fly. Was the other one Every Little Bit? This electric LWG has always been my Holy Grail of Patty cds. Never been sighted yet by me. I suppose getting three competing record companies (ATO, EMI, and A&M Fontana) and maybe even Jackson Browne :-) to work out a deal would be complicated, but considering the many extras that a Patty Griffin box set could include (not just some stuff from ELWG and Silver Bell, but all those other songs that she's had floating around all these years), any complication to put a box set together would really be worth it (to us anyway). But like you say Bruce, maybe it's just a dream.
