I'm too close to the music. I'd buy it even if it was terrible (and of course "Children Running Through" is very very good). When these artists release albums, that music becomes a part of me. So when compiling a best-of list for a year, I save my nominees for artists who I recently discovered and was bowled over by, or for long-established artists who rarely release albums and I rediscover each time they do.
