I think Fogelberg was diagnosed with advanced protate cancer. Men need to start getting a checkup for this around age 50. Try to get the PSA screen and the physical exam. Some doctors only do the PSA. My boss at work has prostate cancer (he's 66) and my uncle also has it (he's in his mid 70's) I've read that it is like arthritis in that the longer you live the more likely you are to get it. Beats the alternative, I guess. Anyway, I was a big Fogelberg fan in the mid 70s since a couple guitar playing buddies were big fans and his songs were pretty easy to play. Saw him a couple times in concert, including an acoustic solo show at St. Vincent's College in Latrobe PA way back in fall of '77 (maybe). I think I sold most of the vinyl I had but might have a copy of 'Home Free' around. I'll have to look for it and give it a spin this weekend. Have a healthy, happy holiday season.
