After ransacking my briefcase, luggage, dresser drawers and filing cabinet, I had little choice but to accept that the ticket was lost. Luckily for me, the show had not yet sold out, so I bit the bullet and ponied up for another ticket. You can guess the rest--the day after the replacement arrived, my "lost" ticket turned up in a pile of paperwork.
