I used to post a lot but got frustrated at the rather parochial outlook of many people on this list and Patty's management. Oh yes, the Caribbean is a long, long way from Austin, she'll need to have jabs and a phrasebook. Look and an Atlas please. How many non us citizen to you reckon will be on that boat? I bet they would all fit in one cabin. Do not tell me to chill out. Which two things have nothing to do with each other? One has nothing to do with the other- and the cruise goes outside the US waters anyway. Have your local venues made OFFERS to Ms. Patty?? So ask yourself, would you pay $300.00 for a ticket to see a 15 hour concert. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 24 Jun 2007 14:31:40 +0000 From: "Charles Ott" Subject: RE: MM: RE: Boat Trip The way I look at it is more like paying $40 per artist as I would for a 2 - 2 1/2 hour show. About 7 or 8 of my favorite artists divided by, I guess, $300. I'd like to see the itinerary. Will they play more than once? Some intimate little acoustic sets on the deck? Maybe a clinic or two for people who play? If so than iyou'd be getting consideribly more than a $40 show. Will they be even more performances of them in various combinations? And just as important to know is is this $799 for a room with a window or would a room with a view be considerably more?
