Hi Folks, I was standing just behind the front table and overheard the Gina Gershon look-alike introduce herself to the table as what sounded like "Patty's manager". Kinda makes sense as she led Doug through the crowd and up to the stage to do guitar tunings and also manned the exit door through which Patty et al entered. What a lovely show :) Absolutely worth the drive from SF!!! I freely admit this "celebrity sighting" at Patty's show might be bogus, as evidenced by the qualifying statements in my report. After a brief visit to imdb.com, however, I can offer this highly circumstantial evidence: 1) there are a couple of shots in the "photo gallery" that look very much like the woman at the show, but not so much like the Gina Gershon we are used to seeing in films like "Bound;" 2) there is also a shot of her apparently on stage with a guitar; 3) her bio indicates that she has done some songwriting, and that "most of (her) friends are...musicians." My wife also thought she saw Toni Collette. Again, fairly unlikely, but in Hollywood, you never know... Larry, my friend Ashley and I were sitting probably right below you, right behind the rope that blocked access to the stage (next to the exit doors). We carefully watched the folks who came in through the exit doors before/with Patty, because we asked a few of them to sit down in front of us so as not to block our view that we'd staked out for an hour... I'd think I or my (lesbian) friend would have noticed Gina Gershon!) :) Lisa ________________________________________________________________________ Check out the new AOL. Tickets have been on sale since noon and only sold to row F on the floor! Also--to anyone who may be familiar with the Fitzgerald--has anyone sat in those balcony box seats? They seem like they'd be pretty good seats but I've never experienced them. Just wondering. - --------------------------------- Sucker-punch spam with award-winning protection. Try the free Yahoo!
