I freely admit this "celebrity sighting" at Patty's show might be bogus, as evidenced by the qualifying statements in my report. After a brief visit to imdb.com, however, I can offer this highly circumstantial evidence: 1) there are a couple of shots in the "photo gallery" that look very much like the woman at the show, but not so much like the Gina Gershon we are used to seeing in films like "Bound;" 2) there is also a shot of her apparently on stage with a guitar; 3) her bio indicates that she has done some songwriting, and that "most of (her) friends are...musicians." My wife also thought she saw Toni Collette. Again, fairly unlikely, but in Hollywood, you never know... Michael - ----Original Message Follows---- From: "Jim Murphy" To: Subject: MM: Tour Date: Wed, 14 Feb 2007 11:03:15 -0500 Just so everyone knows since the tour dates have been slow in coming out. Patty is splitting the two going out first to the west coast and doing the show which are listed on her website (www.pattygriffin.com) and her myspace (www.myspace.com/pattygriffin) after the west coast they will take a 2 week break and then come back and do an east coast swing. So far all that is out is the New York show on April 19th. There is also a rumor of a show in Boston on April 20. Where it goes from there you'll just have to wait and see. When you talk about getting there incredibley early, it reminds me of this "Mr. Bean" episode I just watched at my local pub a week ago where there's this huge line for this department store sale and Mr. Bean drives up at like when the store is about to open, casually walks in front of everyone, and then when he gets to the very first guy who's like sleeping in a sleepingbag, well.... I won't go into it or spoil it, but it was definitely funny!!! Hmmmmm. No Floriduh shows yet. Well, I guess there's no real hotspot small venues around here. I'll have to wait for the real deal. peace love and vegetable rights, Paul ------------------------------ End of mad-mission-digest V11 #57 *********************************
