That's fair. The list isn't always cut out for everyone. Kim then replied onlist with: >when you signed up, you were given instructions on how to be removed >from the list. >Anyone else that would like to be removed.. >please refer to those instructions and not reply to the entire >list. Thanks in advance.. Kim Later, a reply to Kims post from someone who had requested to be removed came in to the list but it bounced because it hit one of my filters I have in to catch such "remove" posts and send them to me for approval/disapproval. In it the person said that they joined the list over five years ago and can't be expected to still have that email Kim mentioned. That is fair enough. Five years indeed is a long time to hang onto an email. However.... Just a few months ago in August during another spate of "remove" posts, I posted (somewhat) clear and precise instructions on how to leave the list, which included information about two other versions of this list they may still be interested in. This was a nearly a duplicate of a "form" email I send to people who express desires to leave. BOTH of today's remove requestees were on this list when I sent that post last August and were on it the other two times I sent the same information. So at least for one of the requestees the "5 years" excuse does not hold water. So, I sent them the "how to" instructions separately and will again make the same post from last August in a few minutes for others here. PLEASE SAVE THAT POST...there may come the day you want to leave too. By the way, I DO have filters installed to catch such posts, but it can't catch them all because if I make the filters too loose, too many innocent posts will get held up and I do not want to have that occur. I'd rather some slip through and I can deal with them later. Mike - MM list owner. ------------------------------ End of mad-mission-digest V11 #1 ********************************
