I recommend anyone to check them out! The Patty cover is downloadable at http://www.redmolly.com if you go to Merch & Music section you can download the clip. I'm sure they got permission to record Patty! They are a very talented group of ladies...Abbie Gardner, Laurie MacAllister and the lovely Carolann Solebello...all talented, beautiful, great on their instruments and truly have a love music that comes across... And they encourage people to check out the songwriters like Patty who they cover... (that's the only one of hers I heard them do, and they do some good originals as well, but I thought it was cool that they encouraged people in the audience to check out the songwriters they covered and if they liked what they were doing to go to the source! Just a heads up. It was a Patty moment and Long Ride Home has always moved me very deeply and they did it justice with Laurie's emotive voice and harmonies on the chorus, Abbie on dobro, etc. Again, check out http:///www.redmolly.com (No, I'm not their publicist! Was just moved by the music and the moment and excited that they covered one of my favorite Patty songs that has always nabbed me right in the heart/gut). ________________________________________________________________________ Check out the new AOL. Haven't picked up Shawn's new one yet, but I heard her preview the CD last summer at the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival and I know I'm gonna like it when I get it. Seemed like more stripped down, getting back to her roots acoustic stuff with some pretty songs. I think "Cinnamon Road" struck met as a great title. "These Four Walls" I remember being a pretty one. ________________________________________________________________________ Check out the new AOL.
