Just making an announcement here. When you subscribe to this list, you are of course allowed to post to the list from the email address which you subscribed with. This goes if you are subscribed to loose-mail, digest or the news-only version of the list. However, what happens when you try to post from an email address that is NOT subscribed to one of these three versions of the list, it bounces to me for approval as email "from a non-subscribed address". This is both an anti-spam and anti-troll feature keeping the list clear from such posts. In the old days this was not too much of a problem as I could easily just approve the post once I determined it was from someone actually subscribed. What is happening now is...well...if you think YOU get a lot of spam each day, imagine what I get. On top of spam sent to my other email addresses, the lists I run get a hundred or more spams a day sent to them, each of course also from a "non-subscribed" address which of course bounce to me for approval/dis-approval. The amount is steadily growing. I simply no longer have the time to deal with all of them looking for legit posts sent by list-members who posted from a non-subscribed address. So, I am bascially telling you that if you wish to post to this list, PLEASE make sure you post it from an email address that is subscribed to at least one of the three versions of the list, otherwise it will not make it through to the list. Let's say you want to be able to post from more than one address. That's simple. If you subscribe to the loose mail version at your main address and do not want another to get all of those emails (not that tehre are many anyway), you could always subscribe to the very low volume digest or news version with that email address. Any questions please email me off list. Please do not reply to the list with parts of THIS post quoted, as it WILL bounce for approval since it contains text-strings (i.e. "subscrib") that cause it to bounce. (this keeps "subscribe" and "unsubscribe" commands/messages from making it to the list...many are directed there rather than to the proper email address for such commands).
