I have been a huge Patty fan since 1998 and have seen her live at least a dozen times. I have watched her go from this timid little thing with this amazing voice to a seasoned entertainer. Last night Patty was as comfortable as I have ever seen her on stage. Moving around quite a bit and at ease talking to the crowd (who were very welcoming of her). This was her first night out on this short tour it sounded like. She said they were gearing up to record the new album in May and June. It was just Patty and Doug..but man did they put out some tunes. I would say about half were new ones that I had not herd. (very exciting). The ones that stuck out to me were two called Bad News and Peaceful Valley..but all were great in my humble opinion. She did a goose bump worthy encore of Moon River and Let Him Fly...AWESOME. It was a great concert at a very nice venue. I encourage anyone even close to her next stops to get your butts out there and buy a ticket. And if anyone has boots of any of these new songs I would do almost anything for a copy. I dont know that I can wait for the new album!!! And I would be THRILLED if the new album also included an "official" Patty version of "Truth No. 2."
