Or that new one coming out. So, yeah. Don't buy anything else Sony. I'm going to Oakland next week to visit two friends and drink lots of alcohol. I'll have to see how that turns out (besides me hunched over somebody's toilet I mean). I've already got tix to alcatraz. And I got some restaurant's "word" that they'll make vegan dishes to order. We'll see. Since all their other dishes are meat my friend may not want to go anyway. It's at this winery though, so who knows. I do like the vino, and their name brix is wine-like. And "wine-like" means "that which is like wine." Speaking of wine. I'm having my very own batch made right now from a local winery. It should be ready to bottle soon. That's going to be a cool party (bottle while you sample among friends). For the label I'm thinking of something like "Paul's unnecessary christmas wine" or "Pinot Vino el Pablo". My roommate/landlord finally found his machete so he doesn't have to "borrow" my kitchen knives for the weeding and chopping down of branches anymore. I'm still keeping the rest of my knives locked away though. And possibly my bedroom now that there is a machete in the vicinity. Patty Griffin, or possibly Jimmy Buffett, could definitely write a song about my experiences. Peace love and vegetable rights, Paul *********************************** * * So, I don't put out on the first date. * It's not my style. But I do get very * very drunk on the first date. Neither we nor our artists ever gave permission for the use of this technology, nor is it our distributor's opinion that they need our permission. Wherever it is our decision, we will forego use of copy-protection, just as we have in the past. Meanwhile, Sony has set up this site to help you deal with any issues you may have: http://cp.sonybmg.com/xcp/ Or go to: http://tickets.sunncomm.com/selfhelp/addbook_readarticle.php?articleID=72&PHPSESSID=1f8f15e686d4137bdcca196e16903d73 ... Fill out a support ticket and they will email you instructions for one of several "workarounds" you can find for this "Sony BMG" "copy-protection." There are a few other ways around this copy-protection that you should be able to find online. We also recommend assuring that "auto-run" is not enabled for all discs you use on your PC, and not accepting Windows Updates that include changes to your "DRM" or Digital Rights Management (especially those in Windows Media Player 10), until we can guarantee these problems won't arise. In the meantime, the easiest way around these issues is to use Apple Computer products in conjunction with your iPod. We can not apologize enough for the difficulties you've encountered trying to experience the disc you've purchased. We hope you'll continue to have a long and rewarding experience with music after this regrettable situation is sorted out. Thank you for your support.
