I just want to say thank you to everyone who responded so kindly to my email update a few months back. The emails and postings to the website have been inspiring and heart warming. Keep coming back to the site as I promise to keep adding. I have a few updates. I'm very pleased to announce that the eastmountainsouth track "Hard Times" is on the Cameron Crowe soundtrack and in the movie for his new release "Elizabethtown". It is very flattering that he is listing eastmountainsouth as one of his "must hear" music selections in recent interviews. The soundtrack looks great, with artists such as Tom Petty, Elton John, and my personal hero, Patty Griffin. I am continuing to write and compose new songs for my upcoming release. I appreciate your patience while I put together the best record I can. I'm finding inspiration again while watching my beautiful daughter grow. I'm excited to tell you that I will be playing a show next week in Santa Barbara with one of my dearest long time friends Jennifer Terran. She has been a huge force in my life and a BIG inspiration since I came out to Los Angeles. Jennifer has such an incredible voice and her song writing is outstanding. I really do feel that she is the Rickie Lee Jones of the new millennium! Jennifer and I not only share a musical bond but she became a mother months before I had our daughter Lula Blue.. It is an amazing gift to be able to have something so powerful that now we can share our experiences that go beyond music.. It just makes everything that we do in our career's so much more appreciated and nurtured. Please come out.. I will be sharing the stage with the multi talented Jeff Kluesner of Jetliner. He and I formed our first project called "In Dane's Violet".. We have not played together in over 10 years so this is extra special.
