I've heard it was in her apartment... and I've also heard it was in a small studio. But those sirens you hear because she was recording the songs right near Boston Medical Center and there were ambulances going there all the time. I think you can also hear birds on one song... can't remember which. There are about 20 Patty fans from around the country who have decided to meet up in King of Prussia, PA the weekend of July 15 for the Patty show at the Upper Merion Township park on Sunday, July 17. We are planning a series of casual events, including a Patty tune guitar pull, among other things...so haul your guitars, mandolins, harmonicas, or whatever else along! This get-together is open to all Patty fans, and we'd love for you to join us! We have secured a block of hotel rooms together at a discounted $89 per night rate at: The Fairfield Inn by Marriott, Valley Forge 258 Mall Blvd. King of Prussia, PA 19406 Phone: 610-337-0700 This hotel is very near the venue (with FREE shuttle service!), and is right across from the enormous King of Prussia Mall. There are a few slots in the room block left if you would like to hang out with other fans. In order to secure this rate, you must submit your info to me so that I can put you on the guest list. The hotel will not honor your reservation as part of the block unless you are on the guest list. And no worries...I don't need any payment or address info from you. I am simply acting as Julie the Cruise Director for the accomodations...you will call the hotel and confirm the reservation yourself. If you are interested in joining the hotel block, or in the events for the weekend, please email me at: PattyFest2005@aol.com The reservations for the hotel block MUST be made and confirmed by THIS Friday, July 1, so if you are interested, please send me your info ASAP. More info on the "PattyFest" weekend can be found at: http://forum.pattynet.net in the "PattyFest Plans" section. You must be a registered member of the site in order to view this section.
