I guess I beat Don back to the computer. French song; Patty on piano before being joined by the band Wade in the Water; Patty standing at microphone New song - No Bad News; guitar based, like Truth #2 Useless Desires When It Don't Come Easy Long Ride New song - acoustic Cold as it Gets Kite Song New song - Up and Down; piano based Silver Bell - back standing at the microphone Standing Love Throw a Line Tony Making Pies Tears of a Clown New song - Getting Ready; a rocker Icicles Falling Free; guitar based Great concert in an excellent venue. Easy for me to say because we had good seats (and near Cathy, by the way). Took about 1 = hours for Patty's set. Patty looked great, and she was very personable on stage (of course). Patty was backed by JD Foster on bass, Doug Lancio on lead guitar and Mike (I don't know the last name) on drums and percussion. Mike Ramos (who opened the concert and was excellent) joined in for the second half of the concert. Mike's opening act was also excellent, by the way. When Patty and band hit your town, you must go. The new stuff was excellent. It's stuff she wrote between November and a couple of weeks ago when the current tour started. Interesting that nothing was older than the Flaming Red album. Shows the strength of Impossible Dream that its songs, as well as the new stuff, dominated the concert. Thanks....Patty and band. ------------------------------ End of mad-mission-digest V9 #87 ********************************
