Thanks to Aimee I can re-offer this wonderful show [European listers very invited] KGSR Patty Show from last December. dierk :-) ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 17 Jan 2005 13:43:26 +0100 From: cinnamoons@free.fr Subject: MM: RE: KGSR MP3s Removed You make a good point Jeremy but as Murph said Patty's management has chosen to turn a blind eye to B&P and asked us not to offer downloads. I guess their concern is more that B&P are more or less circulating inside a community whereas downloads are available to just anyone and they could be used (without even the "distributor"'s knowledge) in short movies, or whatever. It sure makes things a little more difficult for us European fans but it doesn't keep us from spreading Patty love this side of the ocean :-) Carla > This may be a silly question, but what's the difference between posting > a live show on the web and distributing it via CD, other than time and > money? > > In the end the results are the same. Anyway...during the show (which I thought was pretty bad)...they played Patty's "Rain" during a seen where the paramedics were working on a drug addict who had overdosed outside on the street and it was raining. I didn't really like the show, but it was nice hearing Patty's song on it and at least they've got good music going for them!
