All'ya'all are talking about is tape trading blah blah blah ;-) I saw her AGAIN today. We were not expecting it, but as we were walking in to the Oakland Art & Soul festival my gf said "Patty Griffin" and we thought she was just on the speakers at the concert stage. Then as we were walking we saw a band playing. We took off from the folks we were with as we illogically just started slidding through the crowd to the front row next to the stage. The closest I've ever seen of her...we were not even sure it was her until she got to the end of the song.(Remember even though I've known of Patty for years and years I had never seen her until two days ago...and now I'm on a roll) Turning to grab her next guitar we both smiled at each other and rocked out in the rest of the show. Setlist are not important to me, sorry I don't keep track of those kinds of things. I enjoyed this show more than the last. Duff Yahoo!
