Cyndi Lauper is a nostalgia act where the audience just wants to have fun. (no pun intended) Meaning, for the most part, they're there to relive the past & have a fun time. Hence, the drinking, the screaming, etc... :-) Dave In a message dated 08/12/2004 10:56:15 PM Eastern Daylight Time, lindee37@webtv.net writes: What with the alcohol flowing and all I was thinking that might have been the problem. Have any of you run into this type of thing at concerts? I never have before and am feeling quite depressed about it. The two times I've seen Patty the audience has just been SO respectful. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 13 Aug 2004 07:36:22 +0200 From: "hugues" Subject: MM: Re: OT-bad concert behavior People who yelled or threw something at Cyndi are definitive idiots. If they didn't like her show, they could just leave the place. You can still blame alcohol, but I think alcohol reveals bad people anyway. I think such things shouldn't happen and that policemen should keep the peace of the place.
