It is really great, but not the live recording at Mississippi Studios I thought it was going to be. (Either that, or we were all as quite a church mice.....). Hopefully that will show up sometime in the future. Her opening show was nearly flawless. Monday's was a little flatter in comparison, but still great. And what a treat Jim Henry was! The atmosphere at Mississippi Studios is wonderful and one of my favorite venues. A living room-sized seating area with a raised stage. It's so intimate, the bathroom is right off the room. So as he brings Tracy out on stage, Jim Brunberg (the owner - and a great singer/songwrite in his own right) reminds everyone that he's recording the show, and that if you need to use the restroom, "please do so strategically" - LOL Roy - ----Original Message Follows---- From: "jess913@blackfoot.net" Reply-To: jess913@blackfoot.net To: roy_larsen@hotmail.com, mad-mission@smoe.org Subject: RE: MM: New Tracy Grammer EP Date: Fri, 30 Jul 2004 15:28:35 -0400 Maybe we crossed paths. I was at the Mississippi Studios late show on Sunday night.... This EP really does sound great, I got mine at the Falcon Ridge Folk Fest this past weekend. It's beautiful, she sounds better and better each time, and this has a great choice of songs.... I notice DMB and Ben Kweller are both on the list....why not another ATO artist? Does she have plans for the 1st week in October? Hi folks - a while back, someone offered a disc of Patty's show in Portland and I just missed out on it. I was watching for reoffers, but somehow missed them. I would like to send a copy to my sister, who was at the show. Would some kind soul email me directly (scberry @ yahoo.com) if you can offer me a copy?
