Cameron Crowe does cast real musicians for parts in his movies. One of the most poignant moments, to me, was in "Almost Famous" when we get a glimpse into a hotel room door and we see a man and a woman sitting together singing, in much the same way that Gram and Emmylou might have, or Dylan and Baez. There is extended footage of that song on the enhanced DVD, and it turns out that the singers are Pete Droge and Elaine Summers, two Northwest area singers. Very cool. It is worth buying the enhanced DVD even if just for that wonderful song. - -- SteveB ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 03 Jul 2004 16:40:51 -0500 From: "Steve Gilmore" Subject: MM: who is jessica biel? ...asked Rhonda N.
