[Maureen Scott Subject: MM: New & Improved Birchmere CDs As promised, I tried to tweak these CDs up a bit before sending them on again. Overall, I think they are much better, but I am bothered by the fact that at some of the track breaks, it appears that something was 'snipped out' a bit, somewhere along the way. I tried to make the transistions flow as smoothly as posisble in those few instances. I also retracked both CDs, so the individual songs may or may not be the exact same duration as the originals. The 2nd is a text file of the setlist, which could come in handy when sending out copies on your own later. I already have copies burned up and ready to go, and I am emailing the people that already contacted me about this, so watch out for them to offer up copies soon! Thanks y'all!! Dear family and friends, Thank you for opening your hearts and your wallets and supporting me in The Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. The walkers in Boston raised more than 4 million dollars! This was one of the most amazing experiences I'ver ever had. The 40 mile walk was difficult but we made it- Joan a bit more easily than me. We were priviledged to meet so many people who were walking in memory of family and friends, as well as many survivors. We never could have made it without the wonderful volunteers. From the "motorcycle men" who got us safely through major intersections, to the medics who wrapped my feet (Medic!), to the people who served us lunch (thanks Ellen) and dinner, to those who gave massages, and on and on... The blisters on my feet have not yet healed and I'm already thinking about next year. Thanks again for your support!
