Did anyone record this? Any chance of a copy to cross the big ocean? One Step BEYOND! Hey Madness Ladies & Gents, Mike Burns is here at Our House in the middle of Our Street, just someone knockin' at your door, so let 'im in. This probably belongss in the redundant redundancy dunce-dance dept., like me, but here goes anyway: In case this is not old news, or that there may be new folks out there more unaware than I, the most unaware devil-may-care-coz-I-don't guy around, but there is a very cool poster I just found in here online. It's old like me, but still around: From 1999, it's actually a Lucinda Williams/Patty Griffin concert poster from the Fillmore Auditorium, and vintage 1st Print though it may be, it can still be had only $25-, if they still have it, @ wolfgangsvault.com. Just put the letter/number "F365" in the search engine and voila! It's in the classical Roman Catholic style, although it's all Greek to me, a Philistine from the Fillmore Eastern Everything's Zen Opium Den from way back when so, gather round, fellas: The poster is the image of an angel looking skyward, dreaming of the dueling sirens in the sun, Lucinda & Patty, two scoops of nice cream heaven, for this angel needs inspiration from above, for this angel appears to have fallen and can't get up. Like me. Technically it a Lucinda Williams poster -- thus the opening salvo here, "Words Fell," the last cut on the best album of 2003, World Without Tears, from Lucinda. But Patty's name is up there nonetheless, 2 Goddesses for the price of one. Well, that's it. No long tomes or poems today. I don't expect this to even get through the tight cracks in the Mad Mission dimension of The Blue Sky that is falling on my head. P e a c e . . . ...Mike Burns tries to sneak back into the building... ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 03 Jun 2004 22:40:04 +0000 From: "Steve Ramirez" Subject: MM: SXSW 2004 Closed Hi all, the offer for the SXSW2004 shows is closed, except for the digesters, who probably haven't even seen it yet. First five digester to respond are in. Thanks, Steve ------------------------------ End of mad-mission-digest V8 #142 *********************************
