It was so great to see everyone at the pre-show dinner in Boston. We had seating at the restaurant for 30 people, and I believe we spilled out of the room a bit! It is always fun to meet other fans, isn't it? I am always so frustrated when I go to a Patty show or in-store and I just KNOW there are people I am sitting next to who are probably just as big fans as I am..and who I may even "know" from the Internet. So, I am really happy a few of us broke through that particular degree of seperation a bit this time around. And to look around the room and see fans from Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Atlanta, Wisconsin, Northern California and Seattle there...excellent!! It sounds like everyone had a good time, and I am very glad it came off so well. Thank you again to all who attended! And another thank you for not stealing the vintage Patty cassettes I passed around ;-) John F. Hopefully it will be released soon, i'm itching to get my tickets!!" What a cool place to work, Rhianon! If you hear anything about tickets going on sale, please let us know, OK? The Moore is a great place to see a show, but since the seating is assigned I try to buy my tickets as early as possible, so any advance warning would be appreciated! "boy do i love summer....so many good shows in every direction." Yeah, I love summer in the Northwest, too. So far I've tickets to see Lucinda Williams, John Hiatt, Patty Griffin, Emmylou Harris, Richard Thompson, and more. We get ignored sometiems in the winter up here, but there's always great music in the summer. - -- SteveB Steve Berry scberry@yahoo.com http://www.stevencberry.com http://www.bainbridgehouse.com "Life is short, but wide." ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 14 May 2004 11:38:18 -0500 From: "Gillian Reynolds" Subject: MM: Available ticket - St. Paul 5/18 I have an extra ticket for the St. Paul show.
